Syrian President Assad said He would like to Receive Russian New Coronavirus Vaccine

 

October 7th. Syrian President Assad said in an interview with Russian media that Syria will discuss the procurement of vaccines with Russia. He also said that he is willing to receive Russian vaccines.
 

According to the Russian Satellite News Agency, when asked if he would like to vaccinate the Russian new coronavirus vaccine himself, Assad replied, 'Of course, in this case, anyone is willing to be vaccinated against this dangerous virus.' He also said that Syria will discuss with Russia the issue of purchasing more vaccines for the Syrian market, calling this matter 'very important'.
 

The Russian Ministry of Health registered the world's first new coronavirus vaccine on August 11. The vaccine was jointly developed by the National Research Center of Epidemiology and Microbiology of Gamallea and the Russian Direct Investment Fund, and was named 'Sputnik-V'. The vaccine uses a two-dose vaccination procedure, each with two adenoviruses as carriers, and the vaccination interval is three weeks. Subsequently, many Russian dignitaries, including the Russian Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense, announced the injection of the vaccine.
 

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on October 6 that many close people around him, including relatives, friends and colleagues, have been vaccinated against the new coronavirus. In addition, the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Defense has almost all received the new coronavirus vaccine.
