The resolution stated that international cooperation, multilateralism, solidarity and mutual assistance are the only ways for the world to effectively respond to global crisis such as the new coronavirus epidemic. It calls on all countries to take people-oriented, gender-equality, and human rights response measures.

The resolution supports the global ceasefire initiative proposed by the U.N. Secretary-General, is deeply concerned about the impact of the epidemic on areas of armed conflict and continues to support U.N. peacekeeping operations.

The resolution urges member states and political and religious leaders to promote tolerance and unity and oppose racism, xenophobia, hate speech, violence and discrimination.

The resolution urges Member States to strengthen health systems and social care systems; urges Member States to commit to providing all countries with timely access to high-quality, safe, effective and affordable diagnostic tools, treatments, medicines and vaccines; encourages Member States to have a stake in all relevant stakeholders The relevant parties have cooperated to increase research and development funds for vaccines and medicines, and use digital technology to strengthen international scientific cooperation needed to fight the new coronavirus.

The resolution urges Member States and other stakeholders to promote bold and coordinated actions to deal with the direct social and economic impact of the new coronavirus epidemic, and at the same time, by formulating a recovery strategy to get rid of the crisis, strive to return to the track of achieving the 'Sustainable Development Goals' to accelerate the full implementation of 'The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development'.
