According to reports, Russia is the first country in the world to register drugs for the prevention of new coronaviruses. This vaccine is called 'Sputnik-V', and according to information from the Russian Drug Registry, the drug will be used as a solution for intramuscular injection.

The vaccine plan is divided into two stages : after the first injection, another injection every three weeks. According to the Russian Ministry of Health, twice the injection regimen can produce immunity for up to two years.

The Department also released data on pre- and clinical trials of the drug. Health Minister Mikhail Murashko pointed out that criticism from the outside world is largely related to the 'incompleteness' of the data. He added that many people may not know that the Russian vaccine was released on a platform that has produced six products. Mass vaccination of Russians may begin in December this year or January next year.

Regarding the development of the Russian new coronavirus vaccine, many countries in the United States and the West have questioned its safety and effectiveness, believing that a certain experimental stage may be skipped, and there are no documents and data that can support the efficacy of this vaccine.

In this regard, Russia has refuted it. On the 13th local time, Bruce Aylward, a senior adviser to the Director-General of the World Health Organization, said that there is not enough information to make a judgment about the Russian new coronavirus vaccine. 'We are currently in dialogue with Russia to obtain more information, understand the status of the product, the trials that have been carried out and the next steps to be taken.'
