Vietnamese Medical Expert : If Putin’s Daughter is Vaccinated, there is Nothing Better than Russian Vaccine

According to Russian media reports on August 18, Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), earlier revealed that Russia has received a total of 1 billion from more than 20 countries. Preliminary application for a new coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine.

The Vietnamese Ministry of Health's decision to order 50 million to 150 million doses of the Russian COVID-19 vaccine 'Sputnik V' has become one of the country's hottest news recently. The Russian Ministry of Health stated that the supply of vaccines depends on the progress and results of clinical trials conducted by manufacturers.

In addition, before the large-scale use of vaccines in Vietnam, the Ministry of Health of Vietnam also requires the vaccine testing process to comply with strict regulations and take time. This is indeed one of the main challenges in providing the country’s population with a vaccine against the coronavirus. In addition to the Vietnamese Ministry of Health, many Vietnamese private medical institutions are also actively cooperating with Russian partners to purchase the world's first vaccine.

For Russian vaccines, the biggest question at present is whether the vaccine is safe and whether it is really effective. In this regard, Ms. Tran Thi Lam, president of Hoa Lam Group Medical Corporation in Vietnam, said, 'If Russian President Vladimir Putin says that his daughter has been vaccinated, it means that there is no better medicine.'

In an interview, a Russian media reporter asked, 'Facts have proved that Hoa Lam has shown interest in purchasing Russian-made vaccines. How did this happen, when? And why?'

Tran Thi Lam replied, 'I learned from the media that Russia is preparing to launch an anti-COVID-19 vaccine called 'Sputnik V'. Of course, I am very interested in it.'

Russian media reporters said that Western countries are hostile to Russia's registration of the world's first COVID-19 vaccine, pointing out its 'dangerousness' and the fact that its testing has not been completed. 'Does Hoa Lam care about this?'

Tran Thi Lam replied, 'We believe in the long-term and strong reputation of the Soviet Union and modern Russian microbial technology. We visited some federal research institutions in Moscow and Novosibirsk, and I personally have no reason not to believe in the achievements of Russian science.'

'I am not too worried about Russian vaccines. The so-called danger, because it must go through several stages of clinical trials before being used on a large scale.'

'I believe that Russian citizens will be the first people to be vaccinated. When Russia develops enough vaccines, it may be exported. By then the vaccine has been checked many times. By the way, as far as I know, the Russian President said that his daughter has been vaccinated with this vaccine, which is a sign of the highest quality of the vaccine.'

A Russian media reporter asked, 'If you successfully purchase a Russian vaccine, how does Ho Lam plan to use it?'

Tran Thi Lam replied, 'Before importing Russian vaccines, we must obtain approval from relevant government agencies. If we get approval, the vaccines will be distributed to citizens through the health facilities of our system.'
